Q1. What is an Employee Master in MDM?

ANS: Employee Master Data in MDM refers to the central repository of accurate and consistent information about all employees within an organization.

Q2. How and why an Employee Master is maintained in Zetwerk?

ANS: Here are some reasons why an employee master is needed in MSD365 for ZW use case:

1. Tracking the license holders of MSD & track their activities on MSD

2. To upload the reimbursement entries of the employees.

Q3. Why is an Employee Master important?

ANS: Employee Master Data is crucial for HR processes, compliance, payroll, talent management, and overall organizational efficiency.

Q4. What all details are required for Employees to be onboarded?

ANS: For employee addition below details are required:

1. Employee ID

2. Employee First Name

3. Employee Middle Name

4. Employee Last Name

5. Employee start date

6. Employee WorK Location

Q5. What steps are involved in setting up Employee Master Data in MDM  ?

ANS: Steps typically include data collection, cleansing, validation, Uploading, ongoing maintenance, and governance.

Q6. What to do if an employee is not found in the System?

ANS: If an employee is not found, Please raise a freshdesk ticket.

Q7. Whom should we reach out to get the employee onboarded?

ANS: Reach out to MDM Team via email or freshdesk ticketing Portal to get employees added. 

Q8. How will MDM validate the zetwerk employees and Offrole employees ?

ANS: For Zetwerk employees - MDM will search the requested employee in the ZOHO portal. If the employee is available then MDM will onboard the employee.

For Offrole employee - MDM will verify the requested employee with the HR team. Once the HR team confirms the employee will be added.

Q9. What is the MDM Team cadence setup for Employee Addition?

ANS: HR Team POC will share the New joiners list over email to the MDM team on or before 8th of every month.

Q10. Does Employee master contain Off Role employees as well?

ANS: Yes, In employee master offrole employee are also available. 

Q11. What will be my employee ID in MSD?

ANS: Your employee ID and the MSD employee ID both are the same.
